The Return of THE SUPERDOT: A Retrospective by Philip Tsiaras

The Blender Gallery and Varvara Roza Galleries are delighted to present the second major solo exhibition in London of Philip Tsiaras : “The Return of THE SUPERDOT: A Retrospective. The exhibition will feature a historic survey of paintings by prolific international artist Philip Tsiaras A full-length, hardback book titled “The SUPERDOT”, published by Key Books, will accompany the exhibition. The New York-based artist will attend the invitation only opening event on Wednesday November 30th. “The Return of THE SUPERDOT” a retrospective of Tsiaras’s dot-related works covering three decades of the use of the Dot, focusing on the artist’s personal obsession with the Horse as the primary subject. Tsiaras’s idiosyncratic and heroic horses traverse time and stylistic trends resulting in a mosaic of articulated sensuality and personal eccentricity.
