Virtual Junk Images | Thodoros Brouskomatis

This episode’s artist is Thodoros Brouskomatis. He is an architect engineer and has  been fully immersed in the art world since 2013. His first attempt, the animATheca project was based on the construction of small shrines dedicated to personalities with which everyone is familiar with, and who are no longer alive. This project has been presented in group and solo shows in Greece, England, Germany and Thailand. It was in 2016 that the artist was drawn to the digital media, and started creating his first digital art pieces. Most of those compositions are about a specific theme, the relationship between mother and the child under an unconventional and disturbing light. This series of work was first presented in the School of Fine Arts, in Athens, in 2017.
