Βιογραφικό
Ο Κωνσταντίνος Πάτσιος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε ζωγραφική στην Ανωτάτη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας, ενώ παρακολούθησε και μαθήματα γλυπτικής. Ο Πάτσιος είναι ιδιαίτερα παραγωγικός από το 2005, συμμετέχοντας σε πολυάριθμες εκθέσεις, φεστιβάλ και πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις. Στη δουλειά του το χιούμορ και η δημιουργικότητα φαίνεται να συμβαδίζουν με διάφορα σύμβολα βγαλμένα από τη λαϊκή κουλτούρα, ενώ κυρίαρχο χαρακτηριστικό της δουλειάς του είναι η τεχνική μεικτών μέσων που χρησιμοποιεί. Ενώ το έργο του αποπνέει ασάφεια και είναι γεμάτο με συμβολικά στοιχεία, διατηρεί και ένα στοιχείο αυθορμητισμού. Το έργο του είναι μια σύνθεση πολλών ζωγραφικών μεταφορών, από την εννοιολογική τέχνη και τον εξπρεσιονισμό μέχρι την ποπ αρτ, όλες με μια αίσθηση κοροϊδίας και ειρωνείας και μια πρόσκληση για κριτικό λόγο. Αν και μπορεί να φαίνονται αφελείς εκ πρώτης όψεως, υπάρχει μια ισχυρή υποκείμενη πολιτική διάσταση στις φωτογραφίες του. Χρησιμοποιώντας μια ποικιλία εκφραστικών μέσων, από ζωγραφική, γλυπτική και φωτογραφία έως εγκαταστάσεις μεγάλης κλίμακας. Η τέχνη και ειδικά η εικόνα έχουν τους δικούς τους κανόνες: ξεπερνούν το χρώμα, τα πινέλα και το χαρτί, για να συνθέσουν μια αφήγηση. Η ψυχανάλυση δεν αρκεί από μόνη της για να ερμηνεύσει μια εικόνα. Ένα έργο τέχνης προκαλεί αφορισμούς και συμπτώσεις. Μπορεί να μην είναι από μόνο του αιτία πολέμου, αλλά θα είναι πάντα ένας καθρέφτης. Μία από τις αρχές στη δουλειά του Πάτσιου είναι η σύνθεση μη ταιριασμένων υλικών, δεδομένων και η ολοκλήρωση μιας αδιαμφισβήτητης εικόνας. Μια άλλη προσωπική εμμονή έχει να κάνει με τη σύγχυση: μερικές φορές όταν η αφήγηση κουράζει τον θεατή του, αντιπαραθέτει ένα μπλεγμένο χάος για να σταματήσει να σκέφτεται και να αρχίσει να βλέπει
